Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher to join our British curriculum school in Dubai. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity, develop students' artistic abilities, and foster appreciation for various art forms while following the British curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the British curriculum

Teach various artistic techniques and mediums across different year groups

Develop and implement creative projects that enhance students' artistic skills

Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining detailed records

Create displays of student artwork throughout the school

Organize and manage art supplies and equipment

Prepare students for art exhibitions and competitions

Contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities program

Collaborate with colleagues for cross-curricular projects

Maintain a safe and inspiring art classroom environment

Provide regular feedback to parents on student progress

Support whole-school events and initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or relevant field

Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a British curriculum school

Valid teaching license/certification

Strong knowledge of British curriculum art standards

Experience in various artistic mediums and techniques

Essential Skills

Excellent classroom management abilities

Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Ability to differentiate instruction for various ability levels

Proficiency in digital art and relevant technology

Organization and planning skills

Passion for arts education and student development

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching in the UAE

Additional certifications in specialized art techniques

Experience with international school environments

Knowledge of UAE culture and educational requirements
