Position Overview

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Architect Site Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, specifically in hospitality and resort projects, and proven experience working with consultancy firms. The role involves approving inspection requests, method statements, inspection and test plans, and all site construction documents, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, technical submittals, project quality plans, and inspection & test plans.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

Approve inspection requests, method statements, inspection and test plans, and all site construction documents in alignment with approved drawings and technical submittals.

Ensure that all site construction activities comply with the project quality plan and inspection & test plans.

Documentation and Compliance:

Review and validate project documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Coordination and Communication:

Liaise with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients, to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Coordinate with the site team to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.

Inspection and Quality Control:

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.

Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during inspections.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Architect Site Engineer, with a proven track record in hospitality and resort projects.

Experience working in consultancy firms is essential.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of project quality plans, inspection & test plans, and site construction documentation.

Proficiency in reviewing and approving technical submittals and construction documents.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

Relevant degree in Architecture or Engineering.

In-depth understanding of construction processes and quality control measures.
