Job Description
Role Overview: The Arabic & Islamic Teacher will provide high-quality instruction for students during a maternity-cover period, ensuring the continuity of lessons and adherence to curriculum standards. This role requires experienced educators capable of managing classrooms effectively and maintaining student engagement while delivering a strong academic program.
Curriculum Delivery: The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons according to the UAE or British curriculum, aligning teaching strategies with learning objectives. Emphasis will be placed on creating structured lesson plans, delivering content in a clear and engaging manner, and ensuring students understand key concepts in Arabic language and Islamic Studies.
Classroom Management: The role requires managing classroom dynamics efficiently, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive learning environment. The teacher should be capable of addressing behavioral issues, encouraging participation, and creating an atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
Assessment & Reporting: Teachers will monitor student progress through regular assessments, homework checks, and class participation. Accurate records of performance must be maintained and shared with the school administration, allowing effective tracking of student achievement and timely feedback to support learning outcomes.
Lesson Preparation & Resource Management: The ideal candidate will prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and educational resources to support lesson plans. Creativity and adaptability are encouraged to enhance lessons and make learning more interactive, catering to diverse student needs and learning styles.
Professional Conduct & Collaboration: Teachers are expected to collaborate with colleagues and administration to maintain consistency across the school. Participation in meetings, sharing best practices, and upholding professional standards are essential for contributing to a cohesive teaching environment.
