Role Overview:

SearchPlus is seeking a highly qualified Anesthesia Consultant to join their team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care during various surgical procedures. This role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with medical teams, and adherence to the latest anesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities:

Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans based on patient medical histories.

Administer anesthesia during surgeries, ensuring patient safety by monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthesia as necessary.

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure effective and smooth surgical processes.

Provide post-anesthesia care, monitor patients in recovery, and ensure their comfort and safety.

Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures, potential risks, and recovery expectations.

Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia practices and contribute to protocol development.

Participate in ongoing medical education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Manage anesthesia equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Train and mentor junior anesthesia staff and residents.

Attend departmental meetings and work on improving anesthesia services.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in anesthesia, preferably in a hospital setting.

Proficiency in various anesthesia techniques and medication.

Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and attention to patient-centered care.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills with medical staff and patients.

Familiarity with EMR systems and anesthesia monitoring equipment.

Salary:

AED 65,000 to 95,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
