Position Overview

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Internal Audit Analyst to join our semi-government organization in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance, and identifying areas for operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive internal audits across various departments and business units

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and risk management processes

Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management

Review financial and operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies

Identify potential risks and recommend solutions for process improvements

Assist in developing and implementing audit programs and procedures

Monitor and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions

Participate in special investigations and projects as required

Maintain audit documentation and working papers according to professional standards

Collaborate with external auditors when necessary

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

UAE National (Emirati)

Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred

2-4 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a government or semi-government setting

Strong knowledge of UAE federal and local regulations

Proficiency in audit methodologies and risk assessment frameworks

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and audit software

Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

Professional discretion and confidentiality

Understanding of corporate governance principles

Knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO)
