About the Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Ambulance Driver to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients while working closely with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care during transport.

Key Requirements

Active Department of Health (DOH) License

Valid UAE Driving License

Clean driving record

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate ambulance vehicles in emergency and non-emergency situations

Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls

Navigate efficiently to emergency locations and healthcare facilities

Maintain constant communication with dispatch center

Assist paramedics and EMTs in patient care when required

Ensure ambulance vehicle is clean, properly maintained, and fully equipped

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and equipment checks

Complete required documentation and incident reports

Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience as an ambulance driver

Valid DOH License

Excellent knowledge of UAE road networks and traffic regulations

Strong understanding of emergency medical protocols

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical ability to lift and move patients

Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations

Skills & Competencies

Excellent driving skills with clean record

Strong decision-making abilities

Calm and professional demeanor

Ability to work in high-stress situations

Good communication skills in English

Team player mentality

Physical stamina and emotional stability

Geographic knowledge of local area

Working Conditions

Full-time position with shift work required

24/7 operation including weekends and holidays

Exposure to various weather conditions

Physical demands including lifting and moving patients

High-stress emergency situations
