Role Overview

Al Safat Fresh Dairy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the company’s financial operations. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles to maintain financial integrity and support business decision-making within a fast-paced dairy and production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will manage daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate ledgers. You will prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure all financial data is up to date and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards. Supporting accounts payable and receivable, monitoring expenses, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities will be key aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial processes and assist in audit preparations by maintaining proper documentation and records.

Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with proven experience in an accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes is essential. The ideal candidate must possess excellent numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with accounting software and experience within manufacturing or FMCG industries will be considered an advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines are important for success in this role.
