Job Description

Sedgwick is looking for a dependable and organised Administrative Assistant to join its team and provide essential support across correspondence, reporting, filing, and general office functions. 

In this role, you will produce correspondence, reports, and other documentation, maintain and track suspense files, and handle photocopying and general document management. You will provide back-up telephone support, process invoices and billings, and maintain accurate billing records. Keeping unit attendance records, library materials, and manuals up to date will also form part of your responsibilities, as will recording meeting minutes and making travel arrangements. You will maintain adequate supply inventory and order supplies as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent and brings at least one year of experience in general office administrative duties, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with an insurance company, broker, or consultant is preferred and will be viewed favourably. You are PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and you bring excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and sound interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively within a team environment and meet or exceed performance competencies is essential.
