Job Description
Accounts Payable Operations: As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and vendor payments. This role requires high attention to detail to verify supporting documents such as purchase orders, receipts, and contracts, while ensuring compliance with the company’s financial policies.
Vendor Relations & Communication: You will serve as a point of contact for vendors and suppliers, managing queries and resolving payment discrepancies efficiently. Building professional relationships with partners will help maintain trust and ensure uninterrupted business operations, strengthening the company’s reputation in the market.
Financial Record Keeping: The position requires maintaining well-organized, accurate, and up-to-date accounts payable records. Proper documentation will be essential for audit readiness, compliance reporting, and month-end closing activities, ensuring financial integrity across all transactions.
Month-End Closing & Reporting: You will assist the finance team during month-end closing by reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring all invoices are captured. Your contribution will directly support the company’s ability to meet financial deadlines and achieve overall departmental goals.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Working closely with managers and internal departments, you will coordinate on financial data and resolve discrepancies. Your teamwork skills will ensure that all stakeholders receive timely updates and that any potential financial risks are minimized.
Process Improvements & Efficiency: In this role, you will have the opportunity to suggest improvements to existing processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Being proactive in identifying gaps will help streamline workflows and reduce delays in payments.
