Accounts Payable Assistant Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end accounts payable processes and system proficiency in both Tally and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete accounts payable cycle from LPO to payment processing

Coordinate effectively with Procurement and Business teams

Review and validate vendor invoices and payment requests

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Monitor and maintain vendor accounts and relationships

Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Manage and track LPOs and pending payments

Support month-end closing processes

Supervise and train accounts payable staff

Implement process improvements and best practices

Ensure accurate and timely payment processing

Required Qualifications

MBA degree required

Professional qualification preferred (C.A, CPA, ACCA, or ICMA)

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable

Expert knowledge of LPO to payment processes

Strong proficiency in Tally and Oracle systems

Advanced MS Excel skills

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
