Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for processing invoices, managing financial documentation, and supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) team. This role is critical in ensuring financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and post accounting entries in strict accordance with company policies and procedures

Conduct thorough scanning of financial statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify and investigate unusual or overdue items

Prepare Debit/Credit Memos for miscellaneous transactions with precise attention to detail

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations

Review and update expenses and payroll records

Maintain and update financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility

Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline

Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Excellent attention to detail

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite

Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting certifications (CPA, ACCA)

Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Prior experience in accounts payable in a multinational corporate environment
