Job Description
Role Overview: The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance within the firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of UAE tax laws, financial reporting, and strategic management to support business growth and client satisfaction.
Leadership & Team Management: This role requires an experienced professional who can effectively manage and guide a team of accountants. The Accounts Manager will mentor junior staff, set clear objectives, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality accounting and financial advisory services.
Financial Operations Oversight: The successful candidate will take charge of all accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and monthly closings. They will be responsible for ensuring timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with international accounting standards.
Taxation & Compliance: A critical part of this role includes managing VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and ensuring that all financial activities align with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. The Accounts Manager will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating tax risks for clients.
Client Relationship Management: The candidate will serve as the key liaison between clients and the company, ensuring clear communication, prompt response to client needs, and the delivery of tailored financial solutions. Building long-term, trust-based client relationships is a key measure of success.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls: The role involves evaluating existing financial systems and implementing stronger internal controls and automation to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accuracy across all accounting processes.
