We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in the logistics and shipping industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure timely submission to relevant stakeholders.

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections from clients.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.

- Maintain and update accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and analysis to assist in strategic planning.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the logistics and shipping industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with large data sets.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Fluency in English

- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Tally

Salary:

AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
