Job Description

Trade License Zone is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a solid grasp of accounting principles and exceptional analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts.

Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Assist in long-term financial planning.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend actions to optimize cash flow.

VAT Filing and Corporate Tax:

Manage VAT filing and ensure compliance with VAT regulations.

Maintain knowledge of corporate tax regulations and ensure company compliance.

Prepare and file corporate tax returns in a timely manner.

Coordination with Authorities and Banks:

Coordinate with DMCC authority and other government departments to ensure regulatory compliance.

Maintain strong relationships with banks and manage banking operations.

Handle all bank-related matters including account management and transactions.

Team Management:

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Multi-location Management:

Oversee financial operations for three locations.

Ensure consistent financial practices and reporting across all locations.

Coordinate with local teams to address any financial issues or discrepancies.

Occupancy and Vacancy Reporting:

Prepare and maintain occupancy reports for all locations.

Share the vacant office list, sales list, and move-out list with management.

Monitor and report on office occupancy trends and forecasts.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Communicate financial performance to senior management and stakeholders.

AML Compliance:

Coordinate with compliance staff to ensure the company's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy and procedures are up to date.

Ensure the company is AML compliant.

Other Duties:

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Proficiency in accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
