Job Description

Hire Rightt is looking for an experienced Accounting Lead to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will have a robust background in general accounting, financial reporting, IFRS, and external audits, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry. This role is essential for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT laws, and overseeing accounts receivable and ERP systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all general accounting activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

Coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely audit completion.

Ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws, including the preparation and submission of VAT returns.

Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate records and timely collections.

Utilize ERP systems to maintain precise financial records and enhance accounting processes.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in general accounting, with a preference for experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, and external audits.

Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, including VAT return preparation and compliance.

Proficiency in managing accounts receivable and ERP systems.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA, CA, or ACCA certification is mandatory.
