Duties & Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing and Accounts Receivable: Maintain billing systems, account receivable files, and records. Generate invoices and account statements.

Salaries and Wages: Prepare and manage payroll including salaries and wages.

Fixed Assets: Maintain a fixed asset register, calculate depreciation, and manage leave and final settlements.

Reconciliation: Reconcile related parties' accounts and perform daily bank reconciliations.

VAT Returns: Handle VAT returns, monthly filings, and secure financial information.

Subcontractor Payments: Record subcontractor payment certificates and process payments.

Vendor Management: Maintain vendor reconciliation, analyze purchase orders, and make payments on credit terms. Monitor the fund position.

Expense Management: Record supplier and utility invoices and review expense reports.

Qualifications:

Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fluent in Malayalam.

Experience: Must have experience with UAE contracting companies.

Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office.

Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

Must have experience in the contracting company sector within the UAE.
