Accountant

Job Description

Role Overview – Grandeur Fit Out is hiring an Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, fit-out and interior design industry knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, oversee financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, support project accounting, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic fit-out and design organization.

Financial Transaction Recording – You will record financial transactions by entering data into accounting systems, classifying transactions properly, and maintaining transaction accuracy. You will ensure accurate transaction processing and comprehensive financial records. You should maintain transaction recording proficiency.

General Ledger Management – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, ensuring accurate account classification, reconciling accounts, and verifying balances. You will review transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation. You should maintain accurate general ledger records.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, recording payments, maintaining client account records, and following up on outstanding invoices. You will prepare aging reports, implement collection strategies, and maintain accurate receivable records. You should manage AR operations effectively.

Client Billing and Invoicing – You will manage client billing by processing project invoices, coordinating billing schedules, ensuring accuracy, and supporting revenue recognition. You will ensure accurate client invoicing and timely billing. You should understand project-based invoicing.

Accounts Payable Oversight – You will oversee accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, coordinating payment processing, maintaining vendor relationships, and managing payment schedules. You will optimize payment timing, verify invoice accuracy, and maintain accurate payable records. You should manage AP operations effectively.
