Role Overview – JLX International Oil & Gas is hiring an Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for organized accounting professionals with strong financial knowledge, oil and gas industry awareness, and the ability to support accounting operations effectively, maintain accurate records, process financial transactions, assist with reporting, and develop accounting expertise within a dynamic energy sector organization.

General Ledger Support and Transaction Recording – You will assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording financial transactions, ensuring proper account classification, and supporting monthly reconciliation processes. You will verify transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation. You will learn JLX International accounting practices and maintain transaction accuracy for energy operations.

Accounts Receivable Processing – You will assist with accounts receivable by processing customer invoices, recording payments, and maintaining customer account records. You will follow up on outstanding invoices, prepare aging reports, and support collections efforts. You will maintain accurate receivable records for JLX International's clients and energy sector customers.

Accounts Payable Support – You will assist with accounts payable operations by processing supplier invoices, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, and preparing payment schedules. You will maintain vendor records, organize invoices, and support the payment approval workflow. You will process payments to JLX International suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
