Role Overview  The Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions within a contracting environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role is suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong UAE accounting experience who can support financial operations in a fast-paced construction setting.

Accounting Operations  The position involves handling day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The Accountant will ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in line with company policies and industry standards.

Contracting Industry Support The role requires managing financial records related to contracting projects, including cost tracking, expense allocation, and coordination with project teams. The Accountant will support project-based accounting needs while maintaining transparency and financial control across operations.

Compliance and Regulations  The Accountant will ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and internal controls. This includes preparing VAT returns, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting audits while minimizing financial risks and discrepancies.

Financial Reporting  The position involves preparing monthly and periodic financial reports for management review. The Accountant will analyze financial data, highlight variances, and provide insights that support budgeting, forecasting, and informed decision-making.

Coordination and Efficiency  The role requires close coordination with internal departments, external auditors, and vendors. The Accountant will contribute to improving accounting processes, ensuring timely closures, and supporting efficient financial workflows across the organization.
