Job Description

Role Overview This role is designed for a detail-focused accounting professional responsible for managing receivables and supporting daily financial operations. The Accountant – Receivables will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collections, and supporting the overall finance function through structured accounting practices and strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Accounting Operations The position involves handling daily accounting activities including accounts receivable and payable functions. The accountant will process purchase invoices, verify documentation accuracy, and ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards while maintaining proper financial controls.

Receivables and Documentation The role requires preparing debit notes, credit notes, customer receipts, and payment records with precision. Regular follow-ups with customers and vendors will be necessary to resolve invoice discrepancies, manage outstanding balances, and ensure receivables are collected within agreed timelines.

Reconciliation and Reporting The accountant will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, customer ledgers, vendor accounts, and other financial records. This includes identifying discrepancies, resolving differences promptly, and ensuring all balances are accurate and supported by proper documentation.

Closing and Compliance Support The role supports month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing schedules, reconciling balances, and assisting senior finance staff. The accountant will help ensure financial records are complete, organized, and audit-ready while complying with UAE accounting practices.

Administrative and Team Support In addition to core accounting duties, the role includes general administrative support for the finance department. This may involve document management, coordination with other departments, and assisting with ad-hoc finance-related tasks to support smooth departmental operations.
