Job Description
Financial Operations Summary: The Accountant will play a vital role in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in all recorded transactions, and maintaining well-structured financial processes that support the company’s ongoing growth. The role requires a professional who understands UAE accounting standards and is capable of handling end-to-end accounting duties with efficiency.
Routine Accounting Responsibilities: This role includes managing daily bookkeeping, processing entries with precision, and ensuring accurate documentation for all financial activities. The accountant will oversee essential functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and timely month-end closing while maintaining complete compliance with internal accounting guidelines.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: The position requires handling vendor invoices, payment processing, expense tracking, customer billing, and collection follow-ups. The candidate must ensure smooth cash flow operations with proper verification, accurate posting, and resolution of discrepancies, maintaining professional communication with vendors and clients.
Reconciliation and Reporting Tasks: The accountant will carry out bank reconciliations, supplier and customer statement reviews, and ensure all financial data accurately reflects real-time company operations. The role also involves generating periodic financial reports, supporting data verification, and ensuring accounts are kept up-to-date with full transparency.
VAT Filing and Compliance Duties: The role requires a strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and the ability to prepare, validate, and file VAT returns within specified timelines. The accountant will ensure proper implementation of VAT rules in daily transactions, maintain compliance, and prepare supporting documents for audits or internal reviews.
Software and Documentation Management: The candidate will work with accounting software such as Tally, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms to record and maintain financial information accurately. Strong documentation skills are needed to manage digital records, monitor database accuracy, and support management with financial insights and well-organized data.
