Sarab Al Kabeer Shipping Services LLC seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to join our maritime finance team. This role offers the opportunity to navigate the complex financial waters of international shipping operations from our Dubai headquarters.

Maritime Financial Management

You will maintain precise accounting records for vessel operations, port charges, and freight transactions. Your expertise will ensure accurate cost allocation across our global shipping routes and logistics network.

Freight & Charter Party Accounting

The role demands specialized knowledge of voyage calculations, demurrage charges, and bunker fuel accounting. Your analytical skills will reconcile complex maritime transactions with precision.

Multi-Currency Operations

Handling transactions in USD, AED, and other trading currencies, you'll manage foreign exchange exposures. Your vigilance will minimize financial risks in our international operations.

Regulatory Compliance

You'll prepare shipping-specific financial reports and ensure adherence to maritime accounting standards. Your work will facilitate smooth port clearances and customs documentation.

Vendor & Client Reconciliation

Managing accounts for port agents, suppliers, and charter clients will be central to your role. Your systematic approach will maintain positive relationships through accurate billing and payments.

Candidate Profile

We require professionals with:

• 3+ years shipping/logistics accounting experience
• Knowledge of Incoterms and maritime contracts
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Excel skills for freight analysis
• UAE residency/availability for May 2025 start
