Behind the Cup, a growing F&B enterprise in Sharjah, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in the fast-paced food service sector and are passionate about combining financial expertise with industry-specific knowledge.

Financial Record Management

You will maintain accurate accounting records, including daily sales reporting, inventory tracking, and expense management. Your meticulous approach will ensure proper documentation of all transactions across multiple outlets.

Cost Control & Analysis

The role requires monitoring food costs, wastage, and portion control to optimize profitability. Your analytical skills will identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination

You will process invoices, reconcile statements, and manage timely payments to food suppliers and service providers. Your negotiation skills will help maintain positive relationships while ensuring favorable terms.

Payroll Processing

Managing staff compensation, including tip allocations and variable schedules, will be part of your responsibilities. Your precision will ensure accurate payroll processing for both kitchen and service teams.

Compliance & Reporting

You'll prepare VAT returns and ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations. Monthly financial statements will provide management with clear insights into business performance.

Inventory Management

Collaborating with kitchen teams, you'll implement systems to track stock levels and reduce shrinkage. Your reports will inform purchasing decisions and minimize food waste.

Candidate Profile

We seek professionals with:

• 2+ years UAE accounting experience
• F&B/hospitality industry background
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis
• UAE residency/availability
