Requirements:

A graduate of BSc in Accounting: Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a reputable institution.

CPA or ACCA certification or work experience at Big 4 audit firms: Certification as a CPA or ACCA is preferred, or candidates should have relevant work experience at Big 4 audit firms.

Excellent proficiency in speaking and writing Business English: Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office software: Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office applications is required to perform various accounting tasks efficiently.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures: Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and corporate finance concepts.

Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software: Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is necessary for managing financial transactions and records.

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality: The ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial data and sensitive information is crucial.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to resolve complex accounting issues effectively.

Deadline control & time management: Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet reporting requirements.

Flexible in working hours and days: Willingness to work flexible hours and days as needed to accommodate business needs.

A team-player with a hands-on attitude: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and take initiative to contribute to the success of the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.

Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.

Assist in external audits and regulatory compliance activities as required.

Provide support to management in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
