Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and complete accounting processes

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow

Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries

Monitor and record company expenses

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports

Support during internal and external audits

Maintain organized financial documentation

Generate regular financial reports for management

Monitor and record fixed assets

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software

Understanding of UAE VAT and tax regulations

Experience with financial reporting and analysis

Required Skills

Strong analytical and mathematical abilities

Excellent attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Good organizational and time management skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Strong communication skills in English

Problem-solving capabilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)

Experience with ERP systems

Knowledge of UAE accounting standards

Arabic language skills
