Job Overview:

Nehal Hotel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of specific experience in hotel accounting, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the hotel's fiscal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial records and accounting documents

Process and record daily financial transactions accurately

Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial entries are precise

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Support the preparation of budget reports and financial forecasts

Assist in conducting internal financial audits

Maintain compliance with local accounting standards and hotel financial regulations

Handle cash flow management and financial documentation

Collaborate with department heads to track and analyze departmental expenses

Assist in year-end financial closing processes

Prepare tax-related documentation and financial statements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-3 years of accounting experience specifically in the hotel industry

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Good communication skills in English

Valid UAE work permit

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel capabilities

Accounting software proficiency

Budgeting and forecasting

Reconciliation processes

Cost control techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting certification (CA, ACCA, CPA)

Previous experience with hospitality financial management systems
