Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, extensive experience with financial operations, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day accounting operations

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Assist in treasury management operations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow

Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries

Monitor and record company expenses

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

Ensure compliance with UAE and Indian financial regulations

Generate financial reports using SAP

Support during internal and external audits

Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (BCOM/MCOM)

2-3 years of accounting experience in UAE

Proficiency in SAP ERP system

Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and regulations

Understanding of Indian financial regulations

Experience in treasury management

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software

Good command of written and spoken English

Desired Skills & Attributes

Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

Problem-solving mindset

Excellent communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Experience with financial analysis and reporting
