Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in Tally ERP 9 and advanced Excel skills to join our client's team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and various accounting functions while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions

Perform daily accounting operations using Tally ERP 9

Create and maintain journal entries, ledger entries, and receipt entries

Conduct regular bank reconciliations

Handle inter-company reconciliation processes

Prepare and analyze financial reports

Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions

Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 (mandatory)

Advanced Excel skills, specifically:

Proficiency in V-lookup functions

Experience creating and analyzing pivot tables

Advanced formula and macro capabilities

Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes

Experience with bank reconciliation

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills in English

Must be currently located in the UAE

Technical Skills

Tally ERP 9 (Expert level)

Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)

General accounting software

Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Additional accounting certifications

Experience working in UAE-based companies

Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

Arabic language skills (advantageous)
