Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring comprehensive financial expertise, with a strong preference for experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

Manage general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes

Prepare detailed financial reports for management

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights

Support external and internal audit processes

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Implement and maintain effective accounting controls and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience

Strong preference for FMCG manufacturing industry background

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of UAE accounting and tax regulations

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel and financial modeling

Accounting software proficiency

Financial reporting

Cost accounting

Budgeting and forecasting

Reconciliation processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA)

Experience with international accounting standards

Knowledge of ERP systems
