About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE accounting practices, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Process and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations

Generate comprehensive monthly financial reports and statements

Assist with internal and external audits

Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws

Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts

Monitor and record all financial transactions

Implement and maintain internal financial controls

Support budget preparation and financial forecasting

Handle vendor and supplier payments

Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection and reporting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2-3 years of accounting experience specifically in the UAE

Thorough understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements

Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Knowledge of UAE labor laws and payroll regulations

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
