Location: Dubai
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. If you have a strong background in accounting with experience in the construction or transport domain, and possess the ability to handle various financial tasks with precision and efficiency, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of the company.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
Handle VAT calculations and submissions in compliance with local regulations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
Participate in pricing strategies and negotiations with vendors and clients.
Support senior management in financial decision-making processes.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
Experience in the construction or transport domain is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, VAT regulations, pricing strategies, budgeting, and reconciliations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Age between 28-35 years.
Salary:
Salary range: 3500 - 5000 AED per month, based on experience and qualifications.
UAE experience is not mandatory; however, candidates with prior experience in the UAE will be given preference.
