Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and providing analysis to support decision-making.

Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and timely payment of taxes.

Payroll Processing: Process payroll for employees, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and taxes, and ensure accurate and timely disbursement of payments.

Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable balances, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis, to identify areas for improvement and support strategic decision-making.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, implementing controls and safeguards as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com).

Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the gas contracting industry.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
