Job Description:

Florius International FZCO, located in the heart of DAFZA, Dubai, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.

Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making and provide insights into business performance.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (BSc in Accounting preferred).

CPA or ACCA certification, or equivalent work experience at Big 4 audit firms.

Proficiency in spoken and written Business English.

Advanced skills in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office software.

Thorough understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.

Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Flexible availability to accommodate changing work hours and days.

A team player with a hands-on attitude and willingness to collaborate.
