Operational Manager

Job Description

We are a leading Freight Forwarding Company based in the UAE, We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day operations of the freight forwarding department, including import/export operations, customs clearance, and transportation.

Managing a team of operations staff to ensure smooth and efficient execution of shipments.

Developing and implementing operational strategies to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Monitoring performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.

Liaising with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of shipments and resolve any issues or disputes.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of  4 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.

Proven track record of successfully managing operations in a freight forwarding company.

Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.

UAE residency and work experience are mandatory.
