Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our logistics team at Marco Polo Freight. The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our logistics operations by ensuring smooth communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in coordinating logistics operations, such as transportation and warehousing.

Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions.

Prepare and process documentation related to shipments and logistics activities.

Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to logistics.

Coordinate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes.

Provide administrative support to the logistics department as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Coordinator or similar role in logistics or supply chain management.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
