ADCANPharma, a reputable pharmaceutical company located in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting & Cost Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting activities to support business decisions and ensure financial stability.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual expenses, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

Monitor and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and procedures to track expenses and improve cost control.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including revenue projections, expense budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and cost accounting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting and cost accounting roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting methodologies.

Proficiency in financial analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
