Job Description:

Position: Finance Director

Company: MediTech Company

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary: AED 50,000 to 60,000 per month (plus bonuses)

Reporting to: CEO

We are currently seeking a Finance Director to join a leading MediTech company based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a background in technology or medical industries, experience managing a full Profit and Loss (P&L), a strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and proven expertise in working with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function of the company, overseeing all financial operations and activities.

Manage the full Profit and Loss (P&L) for the organization, ensuring financial performance targets are met.

Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant regulations.

Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources.

Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, collaborating with department heads and senior management.

Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.

Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.

Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role, preferably in the technology or medical industry.

Strong financial acumen, with expertise in managing a full Profit and Loss (P&L).

Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and financial regulations.

Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a rapidly evolving industry.
